At Montessori School of Creative Minds (MSOCM), Unlike other large School/ Daycare centers, we offer our community of children, a small group student-teacher Ratio of 6 or 8 to 1 for Ages 2-6 years.
A lower Ratio enables us to focus on quality rather than quantity. Our goal is to prepare kids to succeed in the next level of academics and social challenges.

Our Program
Our educational program is based on the philosophy of Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori. She devoted her life’s work to the observation of young children and their learning. There are now more than 22,000 Montessori schools in at least 110 countries worldwide. Maria designed learning materials and a classroom environment that fostered the children’s natural desire to learn.
Your child will be presented with tactile lessons in a peaceful, beautiful, and normalized environment. We are proud to be a part of the Montessori community and the opportunity to guide precious little minds during their early childhood years. Our Home school is furnished with natural light and exquisite Montessori materials.

Our Teacher
Janani Perera
My name is Janani Perera (Children often call me Ms. Jay). I am a certified Montessori teacher specializing in the education of age 2 to 6 year old kids.
I completed my Montessori Teacher Preparation Director program in Kent, WA, in 2008 and I have been a Professional Montessori school Headteacher for over ten years.
I am committed to every child’s growth and development, including my commitment to Grace & Courtesy, proper nutrition, and preparing safe and nurturing environments. I enjoy my time guiding and supporting children as they explore, learn, and develop their inner potential.
As an early childhood educator and as a parent, I am looking forward to sharing my passion for Montessori with families looking for a caring and educational environment that provides for the child’s well-being.
